There are lots of great reasons to fly at night, and pilots who choose to should embrace it and learn more about it. For starters, the views can be truly spectacular. on a moonless night, the bright lights from below make it easier to spot adjacent terrain and obstacles. The IMC rating syllabus was introduced by the CAA as an instrument qualification that they regarded to be a vital part in raising the standard of flying considerably and more importantly making the air a much safer place for all who use it.

This is an introduction to Air Law Part 2 and the Instrument Meteorological Conditions (I.M.C) rating syllabus. Over the comings weeks at CFS, we will be releasing more seminar audio tapes for you to listen and learn from. You as a holder of PPL owe it to yourself and fellow pilots to obtain the IMC rating before it goes forever from April 2012.

Adam Luper is touring France to complete the hours required to start the CPL course. In this video, we join him on day 3 of his epic voyage. On day3, Adam got to take his aeroplane back to where she was built, in Reims, capital of the Champagn region.

Day 2 - caen - angers - la rochelle - limoges-poster

Adam Luper, CPL student at CFS flew around France during November 2011 to complete the remainder of his required hours prior to course start. In this video we watch Adam complete his 300 NM cross flight. With an early start in Northern France, he makes it almost to the south.
